so, this july i am starting death vigil, published by image/top cow. it will be a monthly series limited to three 8-issue arcs, so there is a definitive ending. with this i have learned some of the things about publishing independent comics, and i am planning a video with some tips after i summarize my experiences. hopefully it will prove helpful for others to get their stuff published but apparently rule 1 is promote preorders. preorders are crucial for independent books as they define the print runs, and are crucial to the sucess of the book.. so.. as my far more experienced friends told me to do.... death vigil is preorderable ...pr

Seriously. The sheer horrifying nature of the internet has left me speechless for now. I live in a free country, where freedom of speech is an important matter. A long while ago, when I was still young and at school, we learned how to do a proper discussion in class. We were learned that provocation isn't that bad to get a message across, but that you should always have at least some respect for the people you discuss with, and talk with them with calmness and reason. Onward to 2016

I didn't realize it'd been a full year since I'd posted a journal entry, wow...that's uh...quite an achievement. I suppose I'll give you a rundown of last year, at least, in brief. It started okay - job searching, a trip to NYC (which was incredible I might add), slowly losing my mind from lack of things to do. Soon job searching turned into job and apartment searching, as our apartment trio went their separate ways. Fate didn't smile upon me or my family, and in May I lost the most influential person I've ever known in my entire life: my father. It still hasn't sunken in. Forward to the New Year

As 2014 draws to a close and it’s replacement looms on the horizon, I find myself sitting at my computer and reviewing what has transpired during these past twelve months. I started the year believing that it would be a better year. Maybe I’d finally get into some voice acting – perhaps narrations on YouTube. I came to terms with the fact that I was not only asexual but also suffering from minor depression, and realized that these weren't things to be ashamed of. Sorry I've been gone for so long, guys - I had planned a whole bunch of stuff for my DA page, but in all honesty I got super busy and I get super distracted nowadays so I tend to start stuff and then never finish it :XD: It's been a fairly good year so far! I'm hating OChem and my OChem lab instructor, but the actual class professor (and strangely enough, the class itself) hasn't been /that/ bad. Of course, I didn't do at all well on the first test, so I'm hoping to remedy that. As for my art classes, all three of those are going swimmingly and I'm having quite a bit of fun in them.
